Does that mean I need to go to the Intel website and download the driver and install it? Or can I reset something in BOINC to see the GPU again? That makes a difference of 51 mhs, but that's only equivalent to two of the missing gpu's 28x2 56 well over the 51 difference. When I have all 9 gpu's running I get 270mhs on eth mining and when the gpu's disappear I'm getting 217mhs. It is an Intel UHD Graphics 630 that came with the HP Pavilion TP-01. another weird thing I noticed is the hash numbers don't make sense. Thankfully, Einstein shows an error message of "GPU Missing" to alert me. They have all been running fine for over a year. Yesterday the 0.00424CPUs+intelgpu files stopped processing with this notation after the file name: GPU(Missing)but the other file types continued to be processed. I don't see any of my BOINC projects using GPU. Up until today tasks would show SETIhomev8.08(alt)files, (OpenCLnvidiaSoG) files, and 0.00424CPUs+intelgpu files. On the other hand if you are more into processing power and don’t have to worry as much about feeding those cores with a lot of memory intensive work EPYC should be a serious consideration.I suspect that Windows 10 did something overnight. If your app cares more about memory bandwidth than the number of cores you can toss at it, Xeon remains a solid choice. These findings could impact the decision on which vendor to go with for an upgrade. The number of cores in EPYC have surpassed Xeon but the memory bandwidth remains similar. AMD on the other hand shows a lot of change, due to their focus on core counts. A different picture evolves when you look strictly at memory bandwidth per core, with Intel’s performance showing a flat line since 2019. Going from DDR4 to DDR5 also had a major impact on overall bandwidth, as one might assume. They first examined memory channels per socket times memory bandwidth per DIMM, and you can see small jumps as memory frequency increased but the big ones come from channel counts increasing. That being that it doesnt do anything at all, BOINC related. It also demonstrates why AMD’s EPYC has succeeded in eating quite a bit of the market once dominated by Intel’s Xeons. 2) Message boards : Number crunching : My GPU is hiding in plain sight (Message 1538). 1912861 Virtualbox missing vboxautostart-service.sh. I have BOINC 6.6.36 running on a new Mac mini with SL, but it is only using the Intel Core Duo processor. They trace the performance from 2013 on to the present, with some theoretical results for AMD’s Bergamo in a number of ways, to give a great overview of how the two companies have changed over the years. 933354 BOINC GPU not found, needs a sudo /etc/init.d/boinc-client restart. When I start BOINC via the BOINC Manager, GPUs are recognized and all is well.
